Does anyone know anyone close who's completely computer illiterate? I'm talking about people who know nothing are very little about computers.
Here's one small thing I have to share. Last year, I was talking to my dad online via AIM. He said something and I replied with "LOL". He then asked me why I said that cuz the timing didn't seem right. I then told him that he said something funny so I was "laughing out loud". He then said that he thought it meant "lots of luck". He said that he's seen "LOL" and been using AIM for 5 years, and he thought it meant "lots of luck". Damn! I spent the next couple hours explaining AIM language! He didn't know what BRB, GTG, LOL, TTYL, etc... meant. Five years on AIM and he never knew what these things meant!?
