Have you ever have a cold or normal flu will effect your cochlear implant's hearing? Is that possible? I just wondering

I haven't experienced a change in my hearing whenever I have a cold, flu or allergies.
However, when I become manic due to my bipolar, sounds are unusually loud and distorted. Speech is also more difficult for me to understand.

Having a flu or cold doesn't affect my hearing with CI. However.... when I have a flu... I normally just want silence so I would normally have my CI off.
