What colour is it?

How long have you had it?

I have a Nucleus Freedom

What colour is it?
It is silver with a brown coil

How long have you had it?
8 years and almost 5 months. Had surgery on October 25 2000 and activation 28th Nov 2000

Do you have one or two?
One and also spirt 3 sp hearing aid by oticon

How often do you wear it?
Daily but rarely on weekends unless I'm going out, I never leave the house without it. I usually take it off around 5pm or 5.30, but will wear it up till I go to bed if I want to.

What do you put it in at night?
I just leave it on the side in the front room. I know, I know I'm supposed to put it in Dry and Store.

Have you ever lost your CI?
Numerous times but have found it in like 10 minutes in the house, but never outside.

- Advanced Bionics Harmony

What colour is it?
- Beige, black coil headpiece

How long have you had it?
- Roughly 2 1/2 years (Activation Dec 2006)

Do you have one or two?
- One, too active to pay attention to two

How often do you wear it?
Every waking hour

What do you put it in at night?
- Dry and Store Global, I run the thing almost endlessly to keep it sounding sharp!

Have you ever lost your CI?
- Hell no! LOL These devices are too expensive to be irresponsible like that!


More facts about my CI:
- I do not use decorative accessories as they will make me look ridiculous
- I have mapping sessions twice a year on average
- I love to listen to music and can perceive it very well
- If someone asks me if it's a new bluetooth device, I go along with the idea and refer them to the nearest ENT to get 'implanted'
- I do not use nor risk CI during contact sports
- With the t-mic accessory, I can hear cell phones clearly without interferance

in dri box

Have you ever lost your CI?
godness never... it's either on my ear or in the dri box where it belongs! I have plastic clip tight box for my bag just in case of wet weather or if it's really wet while sailing

Do you have a FM system or a HATIS ear hook ?

I don't have either, I have Connevans (uk's hearing retail) ear hooks for me to use on T to listen ipod with CI and HA
I use PAC for ipod most of the time.

Ten months!!! Whoooo!!

Just the one..I'd love to have a 2nd..but..well..

Daily , waking hours.on weekends not at all , like to have some break

What do you put it in at night?
Dry n Store Global , or beside it if it didn't need Dry n Store.or when I'm out , in my bag at a special pocket that is just for the CI.never anywhere else.

Have you ever lost your CI?
One time did , nearly had an heart attack n stroke in the same time ..turns out that the lil one hid it so I wouldn't go home...LOL u gotta love kids! :P but now they're forbidden from touching my bag!

I used disposables for six months , now I'm on rechargeables.big money saver!

I don't have a FM system , but I have a Noizfree ear hook since HA , works pretty well with CI too!

16-17 hours/day except on weekends when I take a break for 1-2 hours in the morning.
