The woman's point was that there is a right place or time for certain things. This expo was about ASL and ASL only..not about CIs or Hearing aides. That's what she was saying that it felt like a huge conflict of interest cuz CIs are about promoting speech and listening skills. Does a deaf person get a CI to become more fluent in ASL?This is not about bashing CIs..just about the woman's feeling that it just seems like the booth was at the wrong place.
