CI warranty

I just found some information about my implant and i found information about the CI warranty being 10 years from the date your implanted. Iv got 2 years before the warranty runs out. Does this mean I have to be reimplanted if My CI fails?

regardless of whether or not your ci is under warranty if/when it fails, you will need to be re-implanted if you choose to do so.

if your implant fails and you choose to be re-implanted, yes.

no, not all. in fact, i know a ci user who has had her implant for the past 21 years and it is still going strong. i know another person who has had her ci for the past 18 years.
