Was just curious, those who have Cochlear Implants what color did you decide on for the processor and coil? Both same color or mixed colors? If you got 2, as I will, did you get both the same color or different colors for the processors and coils? I opted for both processors to be the silver color and both coils to be black which matches my hair better.

I originally chose silver (based on what my former CI audi told me), but after Cochlear had some problems with the paint chipping off (this has since been corrected), I chose a black coil and processor (since my CI audi said this was a neutral color) instead. My 2nd CI's coil and processor are also black.

My first processor and coil are tan. Yuck. They are my backup and my regular processor and coil are chocolate to go with my hair. I do have some blue mic covers for a change of pace, if I choose. And I can always mix and match the brown and the tan, add the blue and I have "walmart" colors :)

I got the standard Tan processors and brown coils. If I had the tan coils, it will stand out quite a lot against my hair. I didn't want to pick a different color processor as I like to be subtle.

if I get an implant (I'm trying to get back on the CI track, am already a candidate for one, but still need to do CT scans and all that jazz)... I'm definitely going for COLORS. AB's Harmony, they have a nice variety. Just have to think of the color of the processor to get (since AB users get a few covercaps that are different colors/designs). Will have to play with that Mix & Match thing on AB's website.

Cochlear has different pattern/color stickers for the processors..different themes, like sports, too. Does AB? It's cool, just not sure it is me.

AB have cover caps for the magnet coil and the processor, and users can pick whichever set they want (there's neutral, cool kind of designs, metallic, and kids). For the actual processor, there's a choice of silver, black, and sepia I think. It's been a while since I've been on their website.

I chose chocolate brown as it matches my hair... I have 5 different colour mic covers But i still use brown. I am not too fussy with colours. Hearing that is the matter for me.

I feel the same way, Char. One CI user I know said something to the effect that even if she had to carry her CI in a large wheel barrel, she'd do it as long as it meant she could hear. I agree.

My ci processor is PINK! And the coil's brown to match my hair.
cochlear have tan, brown, black, silver, blue and pink for processor and coil.

SkullChick..Cochlear does not has pink or blue coils..just the neutral colors.

I'd love a pink processor too , but I chose the chocolate , and it's all a solid color..my mother wanted to choose a tan one..but I told her to forget it.

I do have a few color covers for the mic , but I'd really love the pink ones..I do not have a spare processor though *sigh*

im glad they took care of that chipping problem. would hate to have to have that happen and send them back for cosmetic stuff. i saw a woman with behind the ear hearing aids that same silver color after i decided to get it and i liked the way it looked.

Cochlear does have pink and blue now. when i went in to choose my colors they had demo models and had black, beige, tan, pink and light blue that you could get them one any of those colors. but not sure about coils, wasnt even considering pink or blue so i didnt ask lol

Vivie is right, there's blue, pink, Brown, tan, black and silver processors, NO pink and blue coil, just black, silver, brown and tan.

i dont know how i forgot to list silver since thats what im getting. :hmm:
