CI and music

in my intro i mentioned music, so i thought id start a thread what to expect, for the record im deaf in both ears, HA's are useless, so i got the nucleus 6 implant, had 3 mappings so far (every 2 weeks) after each mapping voice gets better but music doesnt, anyway- my p4 is music program and it really sucks, so i just use p1 or p2, on my keyboard- low notes sound ok, higher notes sound 'out of tune' i can play a melody but when adding chords it sounds a bit mucky- radio- im 61 and like hard rock- drums sounds good along with a 1/2 decent bass sound- the organs sound like $9 hasbro- guitar sounds are fairly muddy (not to clear) singing sounds semi robotic- so thats where im at- does it get better with a good music mapping? if so, any tips on how to get a good music map?- john

John: perhaps your audi can explain your ongoing problem of trouble getting music.

aside: I have an Advance Bionic Harmony since August 2007 and have no trouble getting music-right from the first mapping.

Hopefully the problem can be "solved".
