This really made me cry. I want to save all these precious children. So horrible!!!!!!! I vow to call the hotline if I see anything suspicous!

To anyone who reads this, if u are a child abuser, what's wrong with u? Why hurt children like that? Do u feel good about yourselves or what? What u are doing is pure horrible!!

Here is one of my most fave quote " Do you feel like a man when you push her around? "....

"do you like a man when you push her around"

those videos are awful it really make me feel depressed i feel so bad for those kids sighs

It breaks my heart when I see or heard the child being abuse or killed. My husband and I vow to call the hotline if we ever see one. Have you hear a song or see the video by Martina McBride. She sang a song called, "Concrete Angel." That video is very emotional. Here's the song:

CONCRETE ANGEL
By: Martina McBride

She walks to school with the lunch she packed
Nobody knows what she's holdin' back
Wearin' the same dress she wore yesterday
She hides the bruises with linen and lace

The teacher wonders but she doesn't ask
It's hard to see the pain behind the mask
Bearing the burden of a secret storm
Sometimes she wishes she was never born

Through the wind and the rain
She stands hard as a stone
In a world that she can't rise above
But her dreams give her wings
And she flies to a place where she's loved
Concrete angel

Somebody cries in the middle of the night
The neighbors hear, but they turn out the lights
A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate
When morning comes it'll be too late

Through the wind and the rain
She stands hard as a stone
In a world that she can't rise above
But her dreams give her wings
And she flies to a place where she's loved
Concrete angel

A statue stands in a shaded place
An angel girl with an upturned face
A name is written on a polished rock
A broken heart that the world forgot

Through the wind and the rain
She stands hard as a stone
In a world that she can't rise above
But her dreams give her wings
And she flies to a place where she's loved
Concrete angel

Wow, it's horrible to seeing kids like that...

But my job suggest everybody to calling hotline for ANYTHING... Likely, a man hurt a woman or someone hurt a kid or even dating between of a girl and boy, etc like that. Even, neglect(sp) kids or animals or whatever you could name it, they will take ALOT of information and resent police to speak with them. I think it's only in Washington State, I don't know about other states...

Yes I have, this song is one of my fave also, Roadrunner showed it to me I think last month and still have the video link....This about a little girl who's been abused by her own mother....

Here is it.... Martina McBride Concrete angel - Google Video

I can't even bring myself to play any of these. I was abused when I was a child by my father. I blame my mother for being a coward and not doing anything as much as I blamed my father. To this day I have hard feelings towards them, both are in denial about everything of course.

:sigh sadly: I'm truly sorry to hear that Cdaigle430

I find some of the facts hard to believe unless you're referring to the child abuse that's going on outside of the United States.

Also, that's their definition of child abuse?

Some spanking should be permitted to a limit... but definitely not unnecessary beatings where they bleed, cut, bruise, etc...

My daughter loves that song.. she knows every words of the song without reading the lyric. She had repeated the songs a thousand times. she also showed it to me and I was saddened. I asked her why she liked the song so much.. she said she knows a couple of kids at school that's getting abused by their parents and she thinks of them. aww

I am curious...if that's the case about those kids at your daughter's school, didnt anyone report the parents?

When I saw this kid had black eyes and it make me feel sad hate to see whoever parents abused this kids it make me mad that I hate abused! wish I can take the kids away from the parents from the abused. :(

Child abuse knows no international borders--it's everywhere.

Good thread and hopefully, at least one person might find the courage to call the hotline to report anything suspicious...bottom line, if a call goes through and something was done...then this is indeed well worth it. ;)

I think they have. my daughter did tell the teacher that her friend told her that her father was hitting her. but not sure what happened afterward.

last year, my daughter's bestfriend's father got caught in the school having sex with a 14 year old girl. and they questioned her bestfriend and her bestfriend admitted that her father sexually molested her and threat to kill her and her mom if she told anybody. he worked at the school.. pretty scary.

and to save a life or two

In the US there is this paranoid attitude that any physical contact between an adult and a child is presumed to be "child abuse" until proven otherwise.
