Check this stuff about Cochlear(TM)'s dirty tricks

My problem is that the assumption is that a child whose family falls into the lower socio-economic group is not as deserving of a CI as a child whose family has more income.
 
I've read this already by one member who already brought it up on AllDeaf.

I guess it also depends on where you live. Different countries have different policies when dealing with CI's.

My Medicare and Medicaid covered my CI, CI surgery, and all CI-related expenses.
