I saw a very censored video. Looks like they're having a grand ole' time!
I don't think they were having a good ol' time. They were working very hard and they are entitled to have alittle fun in the middle of the misery, death and suffering as well as a celebration of life that they are still alive.
I am sure if you got drafted into the military. You would want some room for some fun and good positive things to do during your time in the service to celebrate the fact that you are alive to see the next sunlight or even to wake up, shower and shave then catch some breakfast in a war zone. To be able to talk to the people that are happy to see you and children cheer you on while you ride in a Humvee etc.
Being shot all the time day after day , night after night in a war will touch you to the very core of your own soul.
You will fight with all your mind, body and soul to stay alive and come home to the Land and The Home of the Brave.
You will value life much better and want to live and you will go through the whole range of emotions of being happy , sad, angry, dancing and shouting with joy because you are alive.
You will be very angry at the senseless terroristic acts beheadings, shootings and shahid suicide bombings etc these savages commit on their own people who are innocent and have nothing to do with terrorist activities as well as against U.S. Troops who are your friends and brothers in war.
The U.S. Marines are expressing a whole range of emotions through the video clip and are trying to turn a bad experience into a good experience so that 20-25 years down the road. They can look back on that video clip and be proud U.S.M.C. warriors and remember that day they saved alots of people's lives from evil harm. God Bless the U.S. Marines Semper Fidelis.....
