Hello friends. My daughter and son-in- law (he is deaf) have 4 children and are currently living in the northeast. It is hard because they have no family there and a very small deaf community making it quite isolating for him especially. Her husband needs people that he can communicate with and develop friendships.
They are considering moving to the Charlotte area. Since I live in near Charlotte, I am trying to find information on the deaf community here. How big is it? Are there active groups of people in the 30-40 age range? Thank you in advance for you feedback!
