Central Florida Deaf Community need an upgrade

Whatever it is around here need to change and the system way toooooo old fashion. I came here from California. Is there anyway I should know of? I want to make it happen. Not a lot of people doesn't understand the meaning of true deaf community as much as an deaf rights, civil rights etc. What's your best recommend?
 
I am right there with you! I live in central florida too and I'm having the hardest time getting any type of benefit or even recognition from officials that a problem exists even with medical documents in hand. I have contacted a local disability lawyer.... if I hear anything useful I will be happy to share.
