CART questions from a CART provider

Hi, everyone! I'm a recent court reporting graduate and will be starting my first remote CART job next week. I am curious if you can give me any tips on things you do/don't like, font color/size, etc. If you've used one before can you tell me how your experience was? Are you totally upset if sometimes there are untranslates even if you get an edited version later on? Please share your thoughts with me! I want to serve your community the best I can.

Although this is not something you can control directly, I hate it when the mic doesn't pick up the sound that is supposed to be part of the transcript.

One remote CART experience I had was pretty bad and had the word "indiscernible" appear in the text 157 times. Nobody could figure out what was being said.

A more recent experience was better and that only happened some of the time.

I don't know if you have control over this, but I don't like huge blocks of text. It's harder to read than blocks of text separated by white space.
