Canned food drive at your child's school?

I was wondering if your children's school is having a canned food drive? Have you made donates? ;)

My sons school is having a canned food drive and all classes are participating, The class that donates the most will win a movie party, So far my little one's class is winning. He is all excited and I told him it's not about winning It's about giving generously this season for those families might go without food this holiday season. So, he wanted to donates more and more, because he felt bad for the families. I think that's cute. I told him I aren't rich, but, I'll try my best. I had donated 2 bags of food already one bag for Markus's for his class and one other bag for Jordan's class. ;) So far, Jordan's class had collect 99, Markus's class had collect 65.
 
My children's school.. aren't going for completion nothing.. Just simple pure food donate into the huge basket bin.. To help poverty families who cannot afford to buy their foods in the winter season.

Actually, Galaxyangle will probably request for the food donation since she has to pay her phone bill. Sorry, me bad...

Yes, One bag donation..

And also food store has one huge bag worth 7 dollars I do still donate..

I've experienced past when I was single mother and son had been suffered poverty and received food bank.. and decide moved away from Toronto, Ontario reason expensive living and ex.. I'd rather live far away and found mr right guy and extra two children and married.. Comfy living so far.. He has wonderful a job.. So We are still contuine donate no matter what, we willing do anything help poverty family only..

That right but we can afford 7 dollars to donate.. ain't hurt us.. My children has to pay their punishment chores.. Two boys have to earn their allowances detectable cost. My husband doesn't mind pay phone bill divide 4 weeks from 800 dollars = 200 dollars x 4 weeks total 800 dollars.. No worries! We already made deal w/Bell Company. We are pleasant w/Bell Company and set blacklist 900's for our children peroid!
