British Columbia had a law that forced those with mental disabilities and criminals to be sterilized. It was repealed in 1973.
Alberta forcefully sterilized it's aboriginal population until 1972. Although Alberta didn't just sterilize First Nation's and Metis, they made up 25% of those sterilzied and only 2% of Alberta's population.
