Hi, does anyone know of any youtube channels that help you learn ASL? The only one with tutorials I can find is Kateemaria, and while she's amazing, she only has 3 videos... any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!
I really like Dr. Bill Vicars's YouTube videos. He often uses students with him to teach ASL lessons. Check the channel https://www.youtube.com/user/billvicars
I second the Bill Vicars stuff. He has them broken down into ASL 1/2/3...etc. So you just watch the videos in order. He's really funny too. So long as you can understand his signing. Sometimes he goes off on stories in ASL that are hard to follow, but if you can, they're really funny.
If you want, you can also go to his website. Lifeprint.com. There he gives transcripts of classes that you can follow. It's a good site. They also have a facebook page that his wife Belinda administers. She's really great. Super smart and open minded. And she does things on the facebook page to help people learn sign as well as Deaf culture. It's a really great group. I would highly recommend it.
