can a deaf person be an award winning model

I heard that there is very few deaf people that can be models. Is that true??
 
I have a South African friend who is deaf, in fact she won Miss. Deaf World, confidence literally oozes out of her, she's now a presenter on our National Channel and I am sure she does the odd photo shoot now and then so guys Nothing is Impossible!!

Last time I checked, you didn't need to be hearing to wear clothes and have pictures taken of you.
 
If you consider Halle Berry to be a model, then yes, people with hearing losses can be supermodels! ;)
 
Yes it is true, I know someone who is deaf and is a model but not a famous one, I used to go to school with her...

That's their problem, I have seen some really stunning deaf people!!

By the way, I am deaf, and I have been complimented my normal people on my looks!
