On or after January 1, 2006, If NO CC on any TV programs, please report it
to FCC. Make SURE you write down name of program, what time, what channel, and then report it to FCC. And FCC will investigate them, if FCC find that no CC on TV program then FCC will FINE them worth of $250,000.00. Its
already pass the LAW on or after January 1, 2006.

ok i will do it from now on.... especially HD channels... because i love watching discovery's HD channel but it is only HD channel without CC ! :squint:

Hallmark channel tends do not have the CC for Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie. I am very frustrating to see no CC most of those old shows at Hallmark channel.

why dont you email ur complaint to Hallmark Channel ? maybe it will wake up.

Maybe there have been no Hallmark shows sincs Jan 1st? Check that out first.

Also, who knows, there might be some exceptions to the new law?????? I would like to see the legal language if anyone can find it as I'm computer-illiterate.

Everybody, go read the url Endy provided and you will see that there ARE exceptions. You can't just indisciminately go complain to the FCC-if you are planning on doing so, please read the language provided in that link from Endymion.
 
seems like there is a lag on that 70's show on fox but when I watch rerun on FX and UPN it is synced.

Are you watching the 70's show on FOX HDTV or regular FOX channel? There is a lag in CC on FOX TV shows on the HDTV channel, but no lag on the regular FOX channel.
 
good question eyeth but i dont have HDTV and it is the only fox channel I assume its norml one
 
That sounds good to see more CC programs because it's more fair to the deaf community to know what they're saying in caption less programs.

If this channel's extempt from CC programming. Then I suggest you buy those old shows on DVD.

That's what I do.

I do not see anything bewitched DVD old movies package.
