PHOENIX -- Two brothers have been arrested for a murder at a truck stop on June 1.

The victim, Eduardo Prieto, 36, was talking to friends in the truck stop parking lot near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road when a suspect approached and shot him in the head.

The suspect then fled the area in a waiting vehicle.

Prieto was transported to a local hospital where he died.

On Wednesday, officers arrested two brothers for the shooting.

Phoenix police detectives say Gustavo Perez-Morodo, 36, shot the victim execution style and Juan Carlos Perez-Morodo, 38, drove the getaway car.

Gustavo was booked on first-degree murder charges and Juan Carlos was booked for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

A motive for the murder is under investigation.

Quite possible that it is gang activity. Everyone knows that we could never run this country without the help of the gangs, which are really good-for-nothing losers who can't get a job. This is why I'm in favor of unconceal and carry. :)

when the firearm is visible, it's wearer becomes the first target. the criminal will sneak up and execute them first. that is why concealed is better.
 
In Phoenix. It does seem like it must be rival gangs.
