Brother shot and kill younger brother by Mistake

Wow , only one comment , it looks like people are getting so use to hearing about children get shot that is not upsetting anymore.

Sad. This happens when the stupid adult leaves guns laying around where children can get their hands on it. If people are going to have guns, at least lock or hide them away.

This is ridiculous. This is preventable tragedy. Now the 14 yr old will have to live with this tragedy for the rest of his life.

I heard the gun belong to the 14 yo boy and that his mother did not know he had a gun. I wonder how a 14 yo kid can get a gun , I wonder if he found it on the street s or if someone got it for him. The boy said he did not know the gun was loaded . :shock:
 
I thought the boy who was shot was 9 years old, not 11 years old. I agree with Whatdidyou say that the 14 years old boy might have either bought it or found it somewhere and picked it up. He was just toying it around not aware that the gun was loaded. He should not have the gun at all in the first place. Accidents happen. That is tragedy. That is why we need to stop having the weapons like guns and rifles. No one should never mess around with weapons like that. Uh-uh, no way. We need to end gun violence for good. :(

The link to this story said he WAS 11 years. At this point I really don't think the age made that much difference as the poor child is dead . The city has a 'gun buy back program', people could bring in their guns and get money . Someone was
on TV last night and said when people get money for bringing in their guns in they could use the money to buy another gun. Wow! It took someone that long to realize that. I think people might gift cards instead. I would like to know how the HELL the mother did not know there was gun in her house. Didn't she ever go into her son bedroom to clean it up??? This is not looking good for the new mayor of Boston , there has been about 20 shooting since he became mayor and he said he was going make sure this did not happen anymore.

Did you guys read the link to the story I posted ??? It say the boy was 11 years old. I was going by what the link said ! Good grief , what difference does it make if he was 9 or 11 years old?? There is a mother grieving for death of her child and her 14 yo son shot his 'younger' brother by accident and now has to go to court. I hope the cops can find out where the gun came from and if some older person got it for the boy they're just as guilty for the child's death.
 
When I posted this story it was reported the boy was 11 years old and it said that on the link . Since the story broke news it was found out the boy was only 9 years old and the news station corrected the age on their web site . However the link to story remain the same . I made NO mistake in the boy age, and I hope this clear things up.

Yes, I read the link that you posted in your original post, and it said 9 years old. That's where I got the information.

Yes, it is a tragic story regardless.
