Brooklyn as 2nd most expensive place to live

Hollywood was #1? You funny.

SF is more expensive than in LA.

Brooklyn Is the Second Most Expensive Place to Live in the U.S. | The New York Observer

I was surprised to see that Manhattan was #1. I swore that I would have thought Hollywood was #1. I guess I was wrong.

It makes me wonder if I want to see what rent currently costs up there. Should I ask?

Of course. Brooklyn is now the second most expensive place to live. A studio apartment in Ft. Greene section may cost you about $1600 a month. If you want to live in a three bedroom apartment in the same area, it may cost you $3000 or more a month. Crazy.

I work in Ft. Greene section area. About 15 years ago, Ft. Greene was the most dangerous area, but over years, it was cleaned up and changed for better.

Yes, compare to Hollywood, rent the studio apartment will cost $600-$800 per month, but older and uglier apartments are cheaper and sanitation may be poor.

For me, I take LA over NYC due to weather.
