(Undated-AP) -- N-B-C is banking on a show called "Coupling" to eventually replace "Friends" when "Friends" goes off the air. "Coupling" premieres in the U-S this fall, its based on a British comedy of the same name.

Its the story of six friends and their crazy love lives.

The British version of "Coupling" airs on the cable channel B-B-C America and the show's first season is now on D-V-D. The show has been on the air for three seasons in Britain.

There are six episodes on the D-V-D, including the series premiere titled "Flushed".

The comedy is a bit racier than what you see on American T-V and you'll get to understand the meaning of phrases like the "giggle loop" and the "sock gap".

The D-V-D includes interviews with the cast of "Coupling" and the creators of the show.

I love Couplings, it has been showing on PBS for a while and it is funny as hell! I have the first episode on DVD.

@Steel: You'd like Coupling, it is very sexual. ;)

Check pbs.org and check for local listing to see when it is aired in your area.
