Blame on Chinese because of Made in China? or someone returned PS4 to customer service and they don't check serial number? How does wood block getting in game box?

My husband and I were trying to figure that out earlier today. I saw this article this morning. Omg how horrible for that little boy. At least target fixed it for them. I am amazing that the person got away with replacing it with a block of wood! Crazy
