Haemolacria is a physical condition that causes a person to produce tears that are partially composed of blood. It can manifest as tears that are anything from merely red-tinged to appearing to be entirely made of blood.Haemolacria is a symptom of a number of diseases, and may also be indicative of a tumor in the lacrimal apparatus. It is most often provoked by local factors such as bacterial conjunctivitis, environmental damage or injuries.- Wikipedia.org
Occult haemolacria can occur in fertile women and seems to be induced by hormones.

What do you think? I got the text above from Wikipedia... why can't the doctors figure this out?
At times like this, Calvino Inman seems
like any other 15 year old boy.
But then, without warning:
"My eyes were bleeding."
He says it happens at least 3 times a day,
and it can last for a few minutes, up to an hour.
"I felt it comin' up like a tear. I felt my eyes waterin'.
Sometimes it'll burn as it comes out."
This episode is mild he says, but it gets worse,
as you can see in these photographs.
"I've been called possessed by almost all my friends.
I guess I'm used to it now.
At first, it kinda hurt my feelings."
Mom: The scariest thing in my life is when he looked at me
and said, "Mom, am I going to die?"
That right there broke my heart.
The first time she saw it, Tammy Mynatt says she called 911.
They done an MRI. They done a CAT scan.
They did it with and without an IV.
They've done ultrasounds.
When every test came back normal, she took him to several specialist but still no diagnosis and no treatment.
This is what every doctor tells us.
"I've never seen nothing like this before,
in all my so many years of being a doctor."
Now this mother says she is running out of hope.
