Now there's a book thread on AD!

I do have many books that I have read plus great authors.

Right now I'm currently reading the biography of my fave genius...

and at the same time I'm attempting Leo Tolstoy's "War and Peace"....over 1,000 pages of reading pleasure...lol!

Now my book reading requirement is that any book I buy at either McKay's used book store or Books-A-Million have at least a MINIMUM of 500 pages so I can have the pleasure of reading something pretty long.

Also I do love historical fiction especially John Jakes' "Kent Family Chronicles" that is a total of 7 or so volumes long dating from the American Revolution to the post Civil War era. I finished reading Harry Turtledove's Alternate History series that presents a "what if" scenario in which the Confederates won the Civil War.

and Meg.....I envy your 2,500 book collection. I wish I could have kept my books together in one place!
