LOL..I didn't even know they were a 'group'. I just know them from the TV commercials but didn't know they put on shows.

I did find more information on their website

BlueGecko, a year ago my two deaf friends from the Boston area went to a theater in Boston to see them and they had a great time!

My husband is a fan of Blueman Group! His birthday is couple of months away so maybe I'll get 2 tickets for us. :) Thanks for the link Taylor!

Hey bluegecko!

My son and I saw BMG in Vegas and they are hilarious!!!! It is worth the money and time! They are very visual (it got a thing up there to read) and they don't talk but all in action and upbeat music! :thumb:

Here is the link: http://www.blueman.com/

I saw Blue Man Group in New York City and it was a blast. It was definitlely deaf-friendly theatre. I remembered one member of the Blue Man Group did know ASL and talked with my deaf classmate who had his jaws dropped and said, "OMG, you know ASL????"

This was WAY back in... 1998. oh my, I am getting old.

But I will recommend EVERYBODY in Deaf Community to watch BMG. Next time I am in NYC (or Boston) with my husband, I will drag him to the play regardless the price of the ticket!

I do have one guy of NYC's BMG's signature on my postcard that I brought from the theatre... the signature? His wet blue kiss. :)

There are many Blue Man groups performing around the world at the same time. There is no ONE Blue Man group that is performing for the Intel ads on TV. In fact, the "actors" on the Blue Man group often leave and are replaced by newer performers.

I haven't seen the show myself, but I have relatives who have and are knowledgeable in that aspect of show business. They've caught the Las Vegas performances. They say they are quite good. They use a lot of music so I don't know how much that figures in to one's enjoyment.
