Bitmap to jpegs

Hello all, I have a disk saved from a few years back, all my pictures were saved as Bitmap, How can I change them over to Jpeg the quickest, easiest way... I have 100+ pictures to convert. I did it once before but cant find the saved disk and I forgot how to do it....
Thanks for any help, and Im running windows7 now, think it was XP when I saved the photos from.. somehow they saved as bitmap back when.

If you are running Win7 64 bit, I wonder if that's why it won't work- it looks like it will only run on 32bit. It's been a while but try checking for compatibility mode when you right click on the exe file or short cut.

The easiest way- but best for single rather than 'batch mode'

I used IrfanView many years ago and it worked well..I'd recommend that one--

I just right clicked each, clicked edit, save as, jpeg, enter.... done...just 500 clicks for 100 pictures wasnt toooo bad.
Yes win7 64bits.
 
adobe bridge... or could use photoshop to automate the process
