It may not be everyone's idea of musical talent, but the air guitar championships are on again in Melbourne.
Air guitar involves people imitating their favourite musician while strumming an imaginary instrument.
Steven Pethybridge from the Armadale Hotel says they are expecting a big turnout for tonight's championships.
"Some people would try and mock these guys but they are the people who are too scared to get up themselves and are jealous of these guys," he said.
"Like last year, we had Super Dave here and he's gone everywhere through the KFC ads and all the rest, but [if] you think he was good, you've got to see the standard going on now."
"These guys are from all over Melbourne - mainly Armadale area, but these guys are serious."
