Best States To Find A Partner? (For the ladies)

This question is geared mostly to those who have either researched this or had personal experience, but where do you think is the best states to find a partner?

Some time back, NYC was rated one of the worst places for single women. From what I recall there are more women in existence, meaning more choices for men. In some states the ratio is even higher in favor of the men. Now I know you can find a partner anywhere, but where would you say has more tranquility and is a better family oriented place? A close friend of mine lives in VA, and I have been considering moving there because she's there. Don't know about the guys there, but I'm always looking for a change.

I have heard the amount of men to women is more favorable for me in Alaska, but I'd rather not live with the polar bears nor Sarah Palin. Thanks!
 
HAHA! *Moving to Alaska*....I dunno the best states to find a partner....men are everywhere....but good luck in ur search. I'm sure other members will have more input here...

I think Sarah Palin is worst than the polar bears I bet they don't like her either!

I live in Massachusetts and I meet someone from Alaska , they told me that the winters are worst in Massachusetts as they're a wet bone chilling cold and winter in Alaska are dryer cold.
 
I remmy visiting some friends who lived in "Screwsberry, Mass-ass-ach-uttes"....(j/k)...but it was so darn cold....and I mean c-o-l-d.......I got my warm hinny back to Florida after 2 days....:laugh2:
 
I'm from NH originally, so I remember cold. I'm not totally a fan of Florida weather though as it's hot and humid for far too long. I lived in Arizona for six years and loved it - although that was hot as well. Dryer heat though. When I first moved there - it had true desert weather. Hotter during the day, but the evenings were always cool. Then it changed, probably because of all the pavement added when things got so built up.

Actually, Arizona was pretty good for dating. Nothing long term as where I lived was a rather transient place where people just didn't stay long. Good memories though!
 
Alaska! My friend moved there and she had sooooo many men to choose from a very long line. She couldnt beleive it.

As I read that I got a visual of a beautiful night sky. Something so nice. Dating is okay for short term but I'm looking to reel in a BIG fish. :giggle:

well...maybe just get up there...line 'em all up and pick one and bring him back to NYC!...That might work (?)....or maybe a dating site from Alaska?...I really don't know, as I'm not in the dating/spouse market. I like my single status just fine...
