Hey AD'ers,
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of books? It has to be non-fiction, that has helped shaped you into the man that you are. So much of the stuff published today is trying to remake men into queers and sissies. I'm interested in finding books, espousing masculine ideals, that would help mold a Deaf man into a real man. Know what I mean? Which you would recommend to a young man trying to shape himself into what a man should be like. I will get started with a few books to give you a good idea. Some you may or may not have seen before but still good to know.
Let's get started .....
( Actually there are alots I that I have bookmarked or collected, I encourage you to add to the list to help Deaf men become stronger and a better man. )
To become self sufficient... still good to have those around the house in case electricity goes off during a t-storm or in a national emergency. I like some of their books and things on there.

( On the Paladin Press website, I like the military science, self defense, survival & self reliance , weapons section, some of the books are too extreme and are not suitable for the needs of a Deaf man. )

Niccolò Machiavelli (3 May 1469 – 21 June 1527)

" The Prince " is the most famous but not only one that he wrote and he wrote many books.
You will start to have Machiavellian thinking and concepts. I have read his books especially on stragetry, warfare etc.
I am sure your public library has a copy of Machiavelli and his works.
