I just started to teach myself more asl. I know only a few basic signs and I want to take a class in the summer but i figured I might as well get a head start. I never knew that the sentences for regular english and signed english was different. Some of the sings were pretty easy and just makes sense like "eat" etc but ya I enjoyed the book. Im waiting for more, but the libraries stink here and the waiting lists are crazyyyy long. I'm anxious to learn more!
P.S. i had a funny asl moment at work. We have a few deaf reg customers and my bf (we work together) was serving a deaf gentleman who speaks no english but we usually all kno what he wants he rarely does anything different with his banking. When he left he signed thank you and my bf was like "woah he just blew me a kiss!" but had a smile/perplexed look..i was like ur a dork he signed thank you LOL
