Which show do you watch? So many are a complete joke. Are any legit?:D

Isis behading and burning shows seem to be the only real deals on these days

For the most part, Deadliest Catch is real. Some things were set up for the camera, like the captains talking over a burn barrel. They never did it before yet said it was always done, and it was never filmed nor talked about again. I think that some of the practical jokes were done for the camera. It's not that they don't do the jokes on each other, I just think that the film crew were told that practical jokes occured and they did them to film them.

This isn't to say that what the viewer sees is not manipulated through editing. One of the captains left the show (Blake on the Maverick, I think it was) because of how Discovery filmed something and showed it and it really didn't happen that way.

So, fake in that they set up scenes and act them out? No, not really. Fake in how they edit and show the story? Sometimes, yes.

Love Pawn Stars. I think I've seen every episode. :D

I know some of the Axmen guys. They've sold their souls to the a Devil. I come from a family of loggers. These clowns couldn't carry my relatives cork boots. Oh well. :D

I know it's all staged, but I wish they would offer what real pawn stores offer. Which is about 10-20 cents on the dollar.
These guys are doing 75 cents or more on the dollar based on what they estimate they can sell it for..

Deadliest Catch fishermen are real, all right. One of the problems I really don't like is cameramen edit it to make it look more scary and exaggerated when it is not. They usually show exaggerated scenes at the beginning of the show and just before the commercial breaks in order to keep viewers drawing in.

Deadliest Catch had changed the tune since Captain Phil Harris passed away. It'll never be the same. I really can't stand prick, Elliott Neese and his whining about his life problems. He is reckless and put his crew and cameramen in danger for his idiotic ego. His debts are well known and piled up like crazy. The bank gave him a very expensive loan to buy his boat was astonishing to me. I usually skip his scenes.

I also watch Shark Tank. One of the sharks (Mark Cuban? not sure which one is.) said that Sharks spend many hours discussing with entrepreneurs. Cameramen have to edit down and put it together for one-hour show.

I watch Gold Rush but it's starting to get unbearable too. 1000 ounces for a season really means everyone went home busto. Fuel alone would be in the hundreds of thousands. Not to mention every other expense. :D

Alaskan Bush People is really stupid but I can't seem to look away. :D

Big Brother but captions tend be cencored to point nothing to read

I also really like The Ultimate Fighter which is an MMA reality show. Some decent drama and it ends with a fight. Good stuff! :D

The Alaskan Bush people have been naughty. Not only do they not live in the bush but they stole money from the Permanent Fund. Also those teeth. Ugh. :D
