This is an FYI for you all, the time will move an hour back, this sunday so you are all aware what time it would be whenever you are curious about the australians down here.

For the aussies, this is an important message. Cheers. :cool2:

Starting fall season down there?

You can take longer sleep this weekend when time changes.

As for Western Australia, we had our daylight saving ended last weekend on Sunday (29th of March).

We do have a Daylight Saving Referendum voting coming up in May. (I can't vote as I'm not a Australian Citizen).

If the people of West Australia are in favor of daylight saving being introduced in Western Australia by standard time in state being advance one hour from the last Sunday in October 2009 until the last Sunday in March 2010 and in similar fashion for each following year?. It is gonna be yes or no vote.

As for me I can't imagine what it gonna be like without Daylight saving so it is going to be interesting. It would be odd not to change clocks one hour back or forward each year.

It is fall season down here. But it doesn't feels like fall season to me as it is still feel like late summer, most days are still over 85 F degrees or higher for during the day. Good thing is the night time is getting cooler. :)

Yup thats right! The voting will be in May and I will be voting NO. I don't like to get up in the morning in the dark and standing at the bus stop before the sun rise to go to work. Sometimes I like to go for a walk early in the morning at sunrise but too dark and not safe to do that during the daylight saving period. I know many people at my work will be voting no too. Will see what happen after the vote. :)

I agree that you won't vote. Children require sunrise for being at school.

Chevy, I have to vote as I am an Aussie citizen and I will put a tick on 'NO' for against daylight saving.

It has been a very long day today but I enjoyed my autumn afternoon sunshine. otherwise, I am facing a long, loong night.

eh... that's interesting I never knew aussies have daylight savings too lol.. it's cool cuz it's something new that i learn today ;)

Yeah, it is going to be interesting what the outcome of votes will be. If I was able to vote, I'd vote yes as I do rather a longer daylight evening. :)

If vote 'No' wins, it is going to be odd no more changing clocks one hour back and forth each year and having a shorter summer daylight for evening. :)
