Don't know where you think I fail to understand,,,, Ive even said the educational system is screwed.... so it falls back on Parents responsibility.
Some states are enacting to charge parents for the kids crimes as well... hey, that will make me straighten my kids out real quick.
You get in trouble and I have to do time or whatever the punishment is... damn straight that kid is gonna get an ass beating of his life. It all falls back to ground level... no way around it. Parenting, you bring them into the world, should be able to take em out as well.
