I want to challenge and hear your opinions! This is only for deaf people to vote this time...no hearies...I want to hear deafies opinions...no offense! :D

I think Deafies tend to be online with these all threes...for communication!

I am tired of using Relay Services...using TDD while standing on the floor! :D

I like to keep evidences through emails, etc for any proves...to protect myself for any reasons.

And as for tvcam..I havent experience or havent set it up...I was told its a lot easier to communicate face to face than emailing, etc...

I think it is selfish of hearing people thinking we are insane for being online 24/7 everyday..what about them?? they have cell phone, phone, fax machine, etc...we have limit...so why not being online 24/7 daily? :D
 
Actually I think unemployed deaf people, especially those sitting at home living off government funds are selfish when they have the money to buy cigarettes, drugs and drinks. And don't bother to help with the bills.

Anyway back to topic...

Well, it is NOT normal for deaf people being on-line and playing with their pagers/handheld 24/7. I've never seen the majority of hearing people being on their mobile phones 24/7 - yes they do talk a lot on their mobile phones - a lot faster than deaf people could talk on TTY/TDD machines.

I think deaf people (not all) should learn to get out in the real world and look for work and not sit at home playing on the computers or pagers/handheld all the times.

You know, I really never thought about your opinion...you are right! I work and dont sit back at home...however, I do have time to get on computer online all times...

I will never trust pagers! using pager will get you into a lot of trouble!! for example, it happened to me last year when 9 deafies filed complaint against me for paged them 50 times a day individually! I was innocent and foundout the company had virus in it..it caused it spread repeatedly!! not kidding! It got me into alot of trouble!

I bankrupt the pager company and will never ever buy pager again! :D

I was influenced to email everyone 24/7 everyday...when I left deaf community year ago...I decided to go back to hearing world...I was not used to it for not emailing too much to the hearing world..they disliked it..

My friend was patience with me for several months..I worked hard to cut back habits for talk too much through emails...then deaf person told him that deafies dont do like I do so he believed this person...and no longer wants to speak to me again! :cry: :)

I own mobile phone, fax machine & emails which I beleive it´s good useful for Deafie.
 
The truth is... Deaf and Hearing are the same because we are a human being. They do make their choice to use it for 24/7 or not.

Often I don't get a choice though because work calls me or beeps at all times if things break. When I travelled a few months ago, I got woken up every day by the cellphone or pager.

Pagers, email, Videophone are much cheaper than cellphone, you have to pay for the every min or something im very idiot about cellphone, I don't see any difference, Hearing have many many things than we do.. Im not compare thier hearing world and deaf world, I just wish they can equal us as hearing, for a example, We can't all deafies can't afford a Tdd machine it's cost you 300 to 400.. fuck that so crazy.. Hearing people can go store buy a telephone for only 10 dollar.. that's so unfair!

all i saying, They can be online 24/7 no matter and you cant say that only to deafies.. i had seen some hearing do the thing too..
