I've worked for two of the top VRS companies in the past few years. And they ARE both complaining about it.   Don't talk if you have no idea what you're talking about.     It takes money to make money. Interpreters are demanding a decent wage. Nobody, no matter what their job, is going to keep working if they keep getting paycuts.  Sorenson has the most money (which, by the way is mostly NOT coming from vrs revenue), therefore they can afford to have the most marketing; and of course they're going to have the loudest voice.  The demand for VRS is higher than the supply right now.  There are not enough interpreters, period. For community or VRS.   Reasonable pay is NOT too much to ask.
