Anyone have this? Are they that good with captioning and all?

Does it record to DVD retaining CC data stream? I read that ATI website saying :
"Personal Video Recorder Capabilities:
Record TV programs to watch later, add TV clips to your presentations, and more:

Watch, pause and record live analog TV, DTV and HDTV
Burn HDTV to DVD’s and CD’s

It looks like it is separate application and its own ATI app. Bypassing MCE application?

Why? I have MCE 2005 but it never works with captioning if recorded to DVD.:ty:

ATI PVR software is a piece of junk. If you already have MCE 2005, don't even think about installing ATI PVR software. CC is available in ATI PVR software but I think MCE 2005 is better.

For now, there is no software that will retain CC data stream when recording to DVD disk.

I do not have ATI HDTV Wonder anymore. I use two VBox Cat's Eyes DTA-150 HDTV tuner cards. I can record two different HDTV programs at the same time. Dual HDTV Wonder tuner cards will not work for MCE 2005.
