Hello folks,

I heard that AT&T wireless changed data plans on starting Jan 20th. They is implementing 5GB limit per month like Verizon Wireless, Time Warner, etc. I believe that 5 GB limit is too low for boardband access and VRS/VP calls, etc.
For tethering plan, pay extra now (total $60/month).

Also, I checked Verizon wireless TOS and noticed that they recently changed TOS. They now throttle down 200 Kbps after passing 5 GB limit instead of terminating services. However, Sprint EVDO coverage is better than Verizon Wireless.

I am concerning about that because they would impact deaf community and VRS/VP systems because they are requiring high boardband activity.

I still am using AT&T 8525 and Sprint Blackberry 8703e as current.

Thanks,
Tim

5 GB a month for wireless services is fine with me. I usually average 100-150 MB a month using the data services on my AT&T 8525. Why use VP with the wireless services, it's not fast enough to handle VP calls.

There no 5Gig limit on the data plan but there a new 5Gig softcap on the pc connect or tendering plans which mean AT&T doesn't want you to go over 5Gig and if you go over they will issue you a warning not to do it again or they may ask you to go to higher price data plans.
