AT&T to Refund Customers $80 Million for Bogus Charges

See crime does pay! A t & t probably made many times that from their cramming and only have to give $80 million back so it's a win/win in their book and they are probably looking for other ways to screw their customers as we speak. Lily tomlin's Ernestine is probably more truth than fiction, " we don't have to, were the phone company!" is so true, they basically have a license to steal.

As for the fine and penalty: A T & T has over 90 million mobile subscribers in the US, so if you do the math, if everyone of them filed a claim they would only get 88 cents each! but the legal fees will shrink the amount that the people who were harmed by a considerable amount, so I would be surprised if the customer got even 50 cents when all is said and done. Which is way less than they paid each month for the bogus charges on their bill in the first place. It's painfully obvious that the FTC has no interest in protecting consumers, since if they did they would have gone for full repayment, penalties and interest plus a huge fine to keep A T & T from continuing with these illegal billing schemes they keep coming up with. The FTC is only interested in making it look like they are doing something to protect the consumer, but they are really there to help companies bilk millions upon millions of $ out of each and everyone of us living in the US. If we could get it going the way we could tell them were as mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore would be to cancel are A T & T accounts and move on to one of the other crooked phone companies, we would still get screwed by the new company but at least A T & T would be paying a heavy price for screwing us.

Stole $1 from each, total 80 million subscriber. I could steal 1¢ on everybody who have in bank via online to hack. That would give me $3 millions in one second.
