To people at AT&T / MCI / Sprint, please read this.

I found out a way to do one-click automatic dialing of web relay service working [No need to type phone numbers anymore!]. But unfortunately it only works with certain online relay services that allows me to embed phone numbers inside a web address.

I need you to update your websites to allow a phone number to be emdded in a web address, such as:
https://www.hiprelay.com/cgi-bin/quickcall.exe?m=J&p=8005551212&q=N
This above link automatically dials '8005551212' via Hamilton IP Relay.

However, I'd like www.relaycall.com / www.ip-relay.com / www.sprintrelay.com (ALL OF THEM!) to support dialing via bookmarked web address. (Other features such as custom greetings as a parameter inside the URL would be nice too)

Advantages:
(1) Allows bookmarking of phone numbers in Favourites Menu
(2) Allows deaf users to make clickable phone numbers in Microsoft Word
(3) Allows one-click dialing in Microsoft Outlook [Click for Instructions]
(4) Allows having desktop icons that immediately dials frequently-used phone numbers

Then everybody of us will be able to have ONE-CLICK RELAY DIALING!!!!
So, PLEASE modify all your relay websites to support embedded phone numbers in a web address!

Only Hamilton IP Relay works with this great feature at the moment!

Thanks,

Hmm... this sounds interesting! Yeah, I agree... it would be nice if all could do the same thing through bookmarking!

I can now do it via Hamilton's web service!
Just not AT&T or RelayCall or IP-Relay

 Don't know if it'll work in Australia -- but will see...as I use the relay service in USA to call my mother. :)

One-click relay dialing should work anywhere in the world, as long as you are dialing to a North American phone number:

  1. Right-click on your Windows Desktop
  2. Select NEW -> Shortcut
  3. COPY & PASTE this web address:
    Code:
    https://www.hiprelay.com/cgi-bin/quickcall.exe?m=[b]NNNN[/b]&p=[b]XXXXXXXXXX[/b]&q=N
  4. Replace the NNNN in above web address with your first name (letters only, no spaces or punctuation).
  5. Replace the XXXXXXXXXX in above web address with any 10-digit phone number. Numbers only.
  6. Click Next> and then type in a name for the icon. Click Finish.
  7. DONE! You now have a one-click relay SPEED-DIAL on your Windows desktop!
Try it! One-click speed dial icon on your Windows Desktop!
(albiet only via Hamilton IP Relay, at this time).
The CA then now already knows your name and the phone number you want to dial.

Wow, Interesting. It would be nice if they could update their websites to be able to do that.
