Wow! Very interestin' ! I never knew that he was involved in a gang as a " deaf " gangster. I've never seen one like this before. Umm... I support that guy for joinin' a play on TV, if there's nothin' else out there to hire him to work. I am glad that he shows the hearin' world that the deaf people " CAN " do it, not just because of their " deafness ".
My stepfather used to be a gangster himself when he was a teen. His former gang was called " Mau Maus ". His Puerto Rican gangsters and Black gangsters were in war all the time - fought against each other with their baseball bats and flip knives ( 13 inches long, I think ). Black gangsters were usin' their baseball bats and for Puerto Rican gangsters usin' their flip knives.
It was a long time ago. My stepfather's best friend is now workin' ( helpin' ) with teen kids to stay out of gangs. It is very interestin' to see some changes and make it difference by sharin' their experiences.
