I'm looking for friends here that are deaf or HoH like me. I've been working on my signing but it's easier if I had someone to talk to

You are going to have to find a Deaf class in your area if you are living in the city area in Indianapolis just like Bottesini suggested. You can try at the community college where they might have Deaf class for you to learn. Of course, you might have to pay unless there is a Deaf class for free.
