What's your ideal weekend?
 
hmmm -
Friday night head out to Stuttgart, AR. Get to spend the weekend at the Avery House with Team Waterdog, go on a nice duck/goose hunt with Justin Tackett and Yella, with my old dog Narcan by my side. Then get to have spending spree at Mack's Prarie Wings, Then on Sunday have a nice upland hunt, again with Narcan but I would want to do upland with Mike Stewart and one of his dogs as they are a more Field Trial oriented team whereas Justin and Yella are a more hunt-based team.

Then somewhere in all of that, pack in a sermon with Jamie, a night with an old friend Susan, and few good laughs giggles and just plain goofy moments with my daughter! Whew! Thats one busy weekend just thinking about it, but I would like it that way.

The Super Retriever Series of all things. When I realized that dogs in a duck blind are doing this stuff enticed me to it, then I got invited to a duck hunt once, loved it, now Im hooked, you can be noisy and not have to care about sounding like a Mack Truck, lol. Besides a Lab makes a good foot warmer in the blind, :lol:

No I dont ever recall it, unless it was in my earlier years spent out west in Wyoming and Colorado and I dont remember it.

There's no sequoias growing in the wild in Colorado or Wyoming. They only grow in the western slopes of the Sierra-Nevada mountain range of California. :)
 
Then my answer is nope never seen one in real life. Ive not been that far out west. :giggle:

I LOVE it! Ive taken more pics but have yet to get them uploaded to photobucket. Hopefully I'll have them done tonight or tomorrow depending on time and what not as its Revival Week here D-ville.

Wal-Farts. Sony ships the camera directly to them, the only thing wal-mart does is sell them. I would have had to pay much more for it if I had bought it anywhere else.

Likely lake Dardanelle but I have been thinking about getting a mountaintop vista of Magazine Mtn. and possibly Cedar Falls when the leaves change later on.

Yes I am very happy with alldeaf. At first I really wasn't because I had only been here maybe a month when a flammer (not the Flammer) came out and tore freely into me and I just went right back at them and honestly thought it was just a bunch of high school type BS, so I quit coming altogether for about 9 months then I came back and it seemed like the whole forum grew up and I met alot of nice folks so now Im here to stay. i also noticed when I came back that there are alot of folks who are banned for whatever reason so looks like Alex did some house cleaning. :D

I found alldeaf via a google search. I realized due to my hearing or lack thereof I wasnt going to be able to make a career in pre-hospital emergency care (otherwise known as EMS) so I decided to look up a place where I could connect with people who are like me in the sense of being deaf and having to deal with it in a hearing world and wondered how they were getting on. I realized that you guys put up with the same frustrations that I do on a daily basis, so it felt right that I should become a member. Now Ive seemed to have discovered that its OK to be different and nothing to be ashamed of or to try to hide. I feel very at home here on AD. :D
