Will you do this if it actually happened to you? Here are some examples:

1. You dream of winning $25,000. You dream of buying a vehicle with turbocharged engine if you win $25K. As it ends up, you actually won $25K. Now that you have it, you don't want anything turbocharged any more.

2. You've always thought of visiting Canada with a girlfriend if you ever got one. Well, you got a girlfriend. Your plans change. You decide now that you have a girlfriend, you're no longer interested in visiting Canada.

3. You decide to save up to buy a Note 2. You saved a lot and now have enough money. You decide that you're no longer interested in Note 2 any more.

What about you?
 
I dream of lottery win many times,i buy son a house decent car he go for turbocharged and not going to Canada
 
Yes, that's called getting older and wiser. You realize what will truly make you happy is not always the things you dream about.

As far as the money goes, you'd be forking over about 50% to the government so I doubt you'd be getting anything turbocharged.
 
I would use half of the money to pay off bills and the other half to invest as $25,000 isn't a lot by today's standards.
 
Well, the only dream we have in common there is the Note, and my husband usually just gets me the newest technology, so it isn't a big deal.

However, I can envision replacing my wheelchair with a cool version with LED lights on the wheel spokes, and Rootbeer Sparkle finish.

I will go start saving now and let you know what I decide when I get it saved up! :P
 
I got money from my grandfather's will a few weeks ago and I put it in my savings not sure what to do it with. Lol
 
I always dreamed of winning the mega lottery, like the 100's of millions...I always thought it would be cool to just stay in school forever, I'd get a sooo many degrees and maybe a Ph.D or 2 hehe
 
I wouldn't dream of winning anything. I already heard a horror story in Deaf family that got a third million dollars, blew it all away less than few years, already causing 5 kids to suffer, long long story and I just couldn't believe this. These Deaf couple, today unfortunately struggling because government thinks they are too rich, where they actually are very poor right now. Very limited assistance they get.

If these Deaf couple never got that free money, but work for it, then they will be far far better than what they are now, and will have 5 happy kids afterwards.

And the truth is greenback isn't going to make you happy, but bunch of headaches. Trust me on this one.
 
I had the dream of a fishing shack and a boat. I did not win but had the savings - bought a small commercial property instead. Major facepalm.
Why have fun when you can work your ass off instead? Major facepalm again.
