I am wondering if any of the rest of you have encountered the same problem I am having.
I have just gotten a new cell phone (Android 6.0 rather than 4.1.1) and installed both Hamilton CapTel App and the InnoCaption App as I had on my old phone. Then I could not use InnoCaption even though I was not logged in with Hamilton. It would start but then instead of ringing the phone I was calling (in this case my landline which has an answering machine on it) I get "You cannot connect to the server".
I have been through a good deal of troubleshooting and at this point all I know is that I can use Hamilton. If I uninstall Hamilton I can use InnoCaption. But I currently cannot use InnoCaption if I have Hamilton on the phone even if I am not logged in with Hamilton.
The old phone is the GoPhone Avail 2 also known as the ZTE Z992.
The new phone is the Cricket LT Escape 3 also known as the LG K-373 which has been unlocked. Both phones have been used on Pure TalkUSA (an MVNO that uses AT&T towers).
Any ideas? I like the idea of having both installed in case one or the other is down because of problems at their end. InnoCaption has been my preferred service from before the suspension.
