Anyone here wear tencel fabric ?

I went to Marshall's and saw some pants made out of tencel fabric and I did not buy them b/c I had no idea what it was made out of or how long the fabric would hold up after being washes a few times . I just wanted to buy some cotton pants and find 100% tencel instead . I really miss cotton fabric.

I remember that being around in the eighties, and I thought it didn't catch on.

I only like to wear cotton also.

I had a blouse made of that tencel product, it's some kind of synthetic, polyester or something. It wore well, wash and wear, no iron. It kind of had a suede look, it was comfortable. I don't know what happened to it, as I don't still have it. I'm a cotton wearer mostly too.

Might be.

I seem to remember thinking it was like polyester, although I guess it is actually more natural.

I asked a young woman working at Marshall's if she knew what tencel was made of and she did not know. Yeah according to web site I posted it's breathable and polyester is not. I really did not like tencel for pants maybe a blouse would be OK . I want sturdy pants to wear when out walking my dog.
