Help for Social Skills-4th grader - Deafness/Hard of Hearing
A CI girl is having major social emotional issues in the mainstream, (solotaire) and her mom is dealing with clueless mainstream educators. The mom is very open to her learning ASL
and getting into Deaf Ed....Unfortunatly Indiana Deaf School is two hours away....and she doesn't sound interested in sending her to the dorm. Does anyone know of any regional dhh programs in Indiana? I vaguely remember a few posters saying that there are regional programs.....and it sounds like the girl would be an awesome canidate for a dhh program!
