Hi there,
I live in Essex in the UK and I was wondering if there were any support groups near me for young people in their 20's that anyone knows about?
As a bit of background, about 18 months ago I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma and following gamma knife my hearing has progressively gotten worse on my left side. This has left me unable to socialise in groups and environments with loud background noises which has caused some problems with my career which involves a lot of networking and it has also damaged some friendships and relationships.
It would be really good to speak to someone who has experienced something similar so if anyone knows somewhere I could speak to someone I'd be really appreciative.
