I am a single guy who just moved to N.C. back in Dec. I am hoh, but am in the process of learning ASL. I have friend who is teaching me and I hope to teach at the school for the deaf in the near future. I am also attending some deaf functions so that I can assimilate more with the deaf culture. I have been hoh hearing all my life and found it challenging to bond with hearing people. However with meeting deaf persons, I feel like they welcome me with open arms. I would love to meet some single women that are deaf and build some friendship/possible relationships with them. Any suggestions? Any single women from N.C. on this website. Would love to hear from you...:P
