ANOTHER blast from the past with Nintendo...
Back in 1995, Nintendo made another portable (sort of) system that they tried to make it an success over Gameboy, but disappointing enough, it didn't sell well as the Gameboy did and quickly died by the end of 1996...but Virtual boy was never forgotten, because of great games they've played...like red alarm and nester's funky bowling (I'd never played them!) so...Nintendo has already planned to release an classic nes-style GBA SP that should arrive in stores this summer, and Nintendo has ANOTHER plan...making another GBA SP with a different style...from the Virtual Boy. With the new version of GBA SP aka Virtual Boy, it will remove the LSD color, and will show everything and yes, I mean EVERYTHING appears in deep red, as the same color you've seen when you played the virtual boy, if you have, though. Yes, it will still be back lit but won't show the colors anyway...just red...I mean, how cool can that be?
Well, I'm not really interested in that one so...I already have the platinum GBA SP that I got last summer...so I'm okay with it but for anyone who was crazy enough about Virtual Boy years ago, well...then it's a must-buy!
Also, Nintend will release some games for the GBA SP that were orginally from the Virtual Boy...I dont know if they will appear in color or in deep red yet. The games from Virtual boy will appear in black and red cartridge...same color as the Virtual boy.
I dont know when they will be released, but proably the same time as the classic nes-style GBA SP, which should be released on June 7th
They will be priced for $200 at launch but I think the Virtual Boy-style GBA SP will get cheaper later on...if it drops to 50 dollars...I MIGHT get that just as an collection lol but I dont, well I'm okay with my REAL GBA SP anyway
well here's the link for you guys to check it out
